I've spent 15 years doing two things simultaneously that most people treat as separate jobs: building the strategy and doing the work. Not delegating execution while holding the vision, actually doing both. That combination is what defines my career, and it's what I bring to every organization I work with.
I'm currently Marketing & Communications Director at MagMutual, where I lead brand, content, and communications strategy for a company serving 50,000+ healthcare professionals nationwide. In this role, I founded the company's internal communications function from scratch, designed a proprietary AI brand voice agent now used across our global team, and built the messaging strategy behind campaigns that drove a 131% year-over-year increase in Marketing Qualified Leads. I also shape the executive voice, leading high-stakes special projects, and making sure the organization sounds like itself at every level. Before that, I managed a $1.5M marketing budget at Urjanet, led a company-wide rebrand at MagMutual that included a new logo, website redesign, and a 54% lift in digital ad click-through rates, and drove a 30% year-over-year increase in web traffic through integrated content and digital strategy. I've launched flagship products, built creative teams, and delivered campaigns across B2B and B2C organizations in healthcare, energy tech, and beyond.
I believe the best brand and communications work is never just "content." It's organizational clarity made visible. When the message is right it reflects what the organization actually believes and says it in a way that lands, and everything else gets easier: sales conversations, employee trust, customer loyalty, executive credibility. I'm drawn to organizations that are building something genuinely worth communicating about, and to the challenge of finding the language that makes that worth clear to everyone who needs to hear it.
Outside of work, I'm a writer by training (B.A. in Writing, Ithaca College) with a genuine passion for book publishing and editorial craft, I earned a certificate in book editing through ELVTR. I read widely, think carefully about language, and bring that editorial sensibility into everything I build professionally.
